For founders and small teams posting a launch on directories, communities and social networks.

Launch on ten platforms and know which one worked

A launch week means posting the same product on many sites, all at once. Give each site its own link and, a week later, you know which ones were worth your time.

The problem

Where it usually goes wrong

  • Everything points to one address

A spike on launch day tells you that people came, not where from, so you can't repeat what worked.

  • Offers that never end

A launch discount posted in ten places keeps getting clicked after it is over, and visitors land on a dead offer.

  • A private beta shared in public

A beta link pasted into a post, or forwarded, ends up in front of everybody.

How it works

Three steps with IntelliLinks

  1. 01

    One link per platform

Create a link for each place you post, with a slug that names it, and file them all under a launch campaign with the same UTM parameters.

  2. 02

    Set the time limit

For a launch offer, add an expiry date and a fallback address. After the date, visitors go to your regular page instead.

  3. 03

    Protect the beta

Add a password to the beta link. Visitors are asked for it before they are sent on.

What you use

The parts that matter here

  • A tracked link per platform

Clicks, unique visitors, countries and devices for every link, plus a campaign report that adds them up.

  • Expiry with a fallback URL

The offer ends on time on its own. Without a fallback address visitors see a plain expired page.

  • Password-protected links

A simple gate in front of a beta, a press kit or an early-access page.

  • QR codes for the physical part

A sticker or a slide at your launch event can carry a QR code to the same tracked link.

Example

Example: launch week

A small team launches the same day on a product directory, two communities and social media. It creates one link per place, puts an end date and a fallback page on the discount link, and a password on the beta link it hands to early users.

At the end of the week the campaign report ranks the platforms by clicks and unique visitors. The team now knows where to be for the next release.

Questions

Good to know

What happens to a link after it expires?

Visitors are sent to the fallback address you set. If you set none, they see a simple page saying the link has expired.

How private is a password-protected link?

It asks for the password before sending visitors on, which is enough to keep a beta out of casual hands. It does not replace access control on the destination itself.

Can I change the destination after launch day?

Yes. Edit the destination at any time; the short link and its history stay the same.
