For marketers running several channels at once.

Know which campaign brought the clicks

A campaign is more than one link: a few posts, an email, an ad. IntelliLinks lets you file those links under one campaign, give them consistent UTM parameters and read their results together.

The problem

Where it usually goes wrong

  • UTM parameters typed by hand

One person writes facebook, another Facebook, a third fb. The same channel then appears three times in your reports.

  • Links scattered across documents

Once a campaign has twenty links in a spreadsheet and a chat thread, nobody can say which are live or how they did.

  • No single view

Adding up clicks link by link is slow, and it hides which source and which country pulled the result.

How it works

Three steps with IntelliLinks

  1. 01

    Create the campaign

Name it and set its UTM defaults once: source, medium, campaign name, term and content.

  2. 02

    Add links to it

Each link inherits the campaign's UTM parameters, and you can override any of them for a single link. They are added to the destination when someone clicks.

  3. 03

    Open the campaign report

One page with clicks over time and the breakdown by country, device, browser, referrer and UTM values, for any date range.

What you use

The parts that matter here

  • UTM defaults per campaign

Consistent naming without retyping, and a per-link override when one link needs to differ.

  • A report for each campaign

Clicks and unique visitors over time, plus where they came from and what they used.

  • Tags, search and bulk actions

Find the links you need among hundreds, change several at once and export your links to CSV.

  • A weekly email

Every Sunday each member of the workspace gets last week's clicks against the week before, the top links, and the countries and sources behind them.

Example

Example: a seasonal sale across four channels

A shop creates a campaign called ramadan-sale with the medium set to social. It adds one link for Facebook, one for Instagram, one for the newsletter and one for WhatsApp, changing only the source on each.

When the week ends, the campaign report shows which channel produced the clicks and in which countries, and the weekly email repeats the headline numbers.

Questions

Good to know

Does IntelliLinks track sales or sign-ups?

No. It counts clicks and visitors on your links. What visitors do on your own site is for your website analytics, and the UTM parameters are what let that tool attribute the visit to the right campaign.

Can I set UTM parameters on a single link?

Yes. Set them on the campaign for all its links, or on one link to override the campaign's values.

Can I export the data?

You can export your links to CSV from the links page. Charts and breakdowns are on the analytics and campaign pages.
